Plot good but......the way it was written was weird. I couldn't understand the dialogue most of the time because of the strange way it was written, same with a lot of the descriptive writing. Example:
At noon, still no sign of Dean, so I faxed him a memo: "NO LUNCH BUT I'M READY FOR A LAP SESSION. M.R." Within two minutes the phone rang. "Mr. Rafino, it's about time," Dean said. "With all your good merits and good looks, Mr. Rafino, you don't let them breathe. And if you do, they have to be consulted perhaps through a Father Bernard at St. Lucia or your high school poetry teacher or your fellow nerd doorman. Who did you consult?" Then there was the weird formatting that really threw me off. It would go from normal font of about 14pt to suddenly being 60pt bold text. In addition, the switch in the point-of-view on a regular basis made it tough to follow along at times, which wasn't great since the dialogue made that hard enough already. Still, if you could muddle past all of that and really focus, the plot was intriguing enough, which is why the three stars.
