...I was blown away. I've written too many reviews of short stories that I feel I'm becoming jaded. I've said it too many times -- writing short stories is impossibly difficult because you cannot develop the plot or the characters enough to become invested.
The first story made it apparent that this author can write, and brilliantly. Did he fall short a bit. Sure. I didn't feel much for the passenger on the commuter train, but the mysterious passenger that boarded was amazing in his intricacies. I was entranced, and that doesn't happen often. Then it was on to story number two, and I wondered if the author could repeat the brilliance with characters Alan, Phil and Neil. He didn't. He surpassed it. Then on to the mind-reading adventures in story three. I couldn't stop reading any of the stories. I was enthralled with each and every one of them. And since they are short stories (really short), it didn't take any time at all to read through them. Literally an adventure on every page. You seriously should not miss reading this. You won't be disappointed.
