Lazy WritingI wrote a review demonstrating how terrible this book was written, but Amazon rejected the initial review because I used an abbreviation of the foul language used in the book. So, here I go again with a less detailed review. The dialogue was horrible and completely unbelievable. Punctuation missing everywhere. The plot was barely tolerable. The writing subpar. The only part of this book I liked was the cover. Here's examples, best I can provide, since I can't use actual words from the book or the review won't be accepted.
It started at the very beginning with the kidnapped teens. The dialogue was not how teenagers talk. The author attempted to throw curse words in there to make it seem more realistic. It didn't work. Then one of the teens is talking about how all of these teens are waking up, puking, but NEITHER of them know where they are (meaning two). The way the author was writing, it made it seem as if they were in a massive room and there were about a dozen of them. Nope. When the door is finally opened, we find that it's a small hold on a ship (so why couldn't anyone move around to find the other guys, instead of yelling out as if they are all in individual cells), and there are only four of the kidnapped teens. During the entire time I kept wondering what happened to the punctuation. I wanted to give the book a chance, but the story was truly infantile.
