Sweet

Sweet (syrupy so) and well-written, if not exceptionally short. I really liked the story but had difficulties with a couple of things. For one, I couldn't determine Sam's age. The way she described him made it sound as if he was between 5-7 years of age, but his dialogue reads more as if he's 10-12, though they are supposed to be adults.

​Another issue I had was the writing. While it was well-written (what there was), there were too many plot holes and though the author attempted to cram backstories and character depth into the too-few pages, it made the story feel rushed. If the author could go back and build it more, this has the makings of an exceptional work.
