Navigating emotions

This book provides a small intro to feelings, that emotions are okay, the importance of honesty, being genuine, being kind, doing your best and not holding onto blame, among other things. These are great messages to share with children, but the author is putting a lot into this tiny book and it either needs to be fleshed out or condensed. Some parts read like it should be directed towards one-to-three-year-olds, while other sections seem to be aimed at three to five, maybe seven year olds, though that might be a stretch.

I could see what the author was trying to convey to the readers through most of the book and liked it well enough, but the first couple of pages (Kindle pg. 7 & 8) and last couple of pages (Kindle pg. 21 & 22) threw off what had been created in between.

One of the things I did like about this book though were its cute illustrations inside.

As it currently stands, I'm glad I was able to support the author via Kindle Unlimited pages read, but it's not a book I would pay for. I can see the potential though and with a little bit more  work it could be a great book.
