Whole 'nother Level

We are reintroduced to the crew of the Moraturi, after they dropped out of the wormhole, prior to arriving at New Eden in the Andromeda Galaxy. They are faced with several major issues to deal with and figure out as they attempt to continue their journey.
This book is extremely detailed, like the previous ones and is steeped in real science, which to some individuals can make it difficult to read or a slow read, but this is what I love about these books. The realism and the fact that they discuss certain scenarios and situations that other sci-fi books I’ve read never touched, making it unique! With the complexity of the technology and life support systems being used and maintained in this book, this author did an amazing job explaining it well enough to at the very least get the gist of what is being explained and complex enough to see the true science behind it.

The characters, dialogue and emotion are all written perfectly. If you truly pay attention to the story, the characters, the personalities that would typically be associated with each new person introduced and the depth created, the emotions displayed align seamlessly.

The only reason I gave this book 4 stars is due to mechanical issues. They are not glaring problems, just a missing word, extra word(s), a couple commas, etc. that you do start to notice after it has occurred a few times too many, depending on the person reading. Here are a few examples:
       • Page 31/Location 487 of Kindle: missing the word 'together' in 'putting a case for her shortlist.'
     • Page 34-35/Location 529-530 of Kindle: 'She wasn't sure if it was that she...', I was expecting another option to be provided in her thought process, but the sentence only provided one, so it felt incomplete, but typed out like it wasn't.
       • Page 51/Location 798 of Kindle: 'Eva would have like nothing...', should be 'liked.'
     • Page 54/Location 831 of Kindle: '...Martha thought back to (missing 'the') Casindra reports...'

If these and others could get fixed/minimized, this would easily be a 5-star read for me.

I absolutely love this book and the Paradisi Chronicles. I CANNOT WAIT for the upcoming book(s) to find out what happens next to the Moraturi and Casindra crews.
