The quotes from other works at the head of each chapter was a nice touch. I recognized a few from reading those books (i.e. Dean Koontz).
High Creep Factor...
...in more ways than one.
Kassim Is A Protagonist...
...that's easy to like.
Creepy yes, scary -- not really. Not really looking for scary though. I was looking for interesting and that's what I got.
Shorter Story Than You Think
Even though the ebook is only 46 pages, the last 18 pages are a sneak peak at another of the author's works. So, this is really a short story.
Finally a horror story that lives up to its name.
There were quite a few creepy moments that could have been made creepier had they been given a little more time to develop; been a little less rushed.
I'm not really certain what to make of this book, to be frank.
Very Short But Involved
This is one of those short stories that's very quick to read, but jam-packed.
Some Unexpected Moments
Not a bad horror read. I wish I could have felt more chills running along my spine, but it didn't quite grab me enough for that.
I absolutely loved Nicki Redstone: fierce protector with a level of humanity that many female protagonists fail to achieve.
