'Casey Grimes: The Mostly Invisible Boy'

A YA Read That Even an Adult will Enjoy

I was captured before the end of the first chapter. 

​A boy that transitions from corporeal to non-corporeal in the space of a breath? Wow! Inventive and very creative, but then it just got better and better. The story was so imaginative as to be inspired and bloody well written too. I couldn't stop. No skimming this book, as some that might drone on or make you yawn.

This had my eyes wide and my heart racing as I followed along with Casey and Gloria...and the babysitter was a major hit with me. Not at all the cliché one encounters on a regular basis in books and movies. I thought these three alone would be enough to drive the story because they were such a colorful threesome, but then the author throws in a myriad bunch of other characters and the story takes off again. I'd thought I'd read everything and then came the shoot out at the "not-ok-corral".

It was a fairly fast read, for me, but I sincerely enjoyed every single word (not joking). I noticed that this is book one. I'm am eagerly anticipating book two. This author is seriously talented and well worth the read.
