Not What I Expected
If you enjoy exploring questions with your child, this might make for a good conversation starter for a parent with young children.
Some of the questions seemed a bit much for younger children, which is the target for this book. It certainly doesn't seem targeted to older children. For example:
Would you rather...forget to do your homework or submit a project late.
Questions like this wouldn't generate a discussion, rather an explanation by the parent on what a project is or homework, since children this book is targeted to would have neither.
There were other questions similar that a parent would have to explain rather than discuss. That's why the three stars. As for reading it on their own, I'm not certain it would provide enough stimulation for reading by ones self.
