Unfortunately, even though I'm a Christian, the content wasn't for me.
When I first started to read the book, my first thought was "this is heady stuff" but I really liked what was being said, especially the information about the mind, body, and soul and the result of starving any of them and the "resolutions of all problems"; however, beginning around the chapter on sickness and forward is where our beliefs diverged and I found myself shaking my head and disagreeing with nearly every point written.
After that, I really wanted to rate this book lower; however, that's why I use a specific criteria for rating books, so that I don't allow my emotional response to detract stars. It is also apparent that the author is deeply rooted in his beliefs and thus should not be penalized for that.
Even though we disagreed on points and I would've preferred to see more than just the Bible cited, this book is written very well mechanically and grammatically.
Word of warning to readers however--this is a highly religious text which may reach/benefit some people and may rub others the wrong way.
