It's not often...
...that I rate short stories so high because a majority of the time they fall short.
By this I mean that they are often missing too many elements to make the story complete, whether that be not enough time to develop the characters, too many plot holes because of the length, etc.
In this case, however, each abbreviated story was literally perfect (in my opinion, of course). Each were well written. The characters were easy to like/dislike even though the stories were often only a few pages in length. The stories themselves were brilliant in their delivery.
I especially loved it when one ended on a punch line almost (as in The Market). I actually laughed aloud when I finished that one. The quote in "The Three Worst Things" was brilliant and had me really pondering that one. I could go on, but I think that if you want amazing bite-sized reads, you should definitely grab this one.
