Not only was the story delightful and simplistic, but the watercolors were very lovely.
I loved how the author combined the artistry (explaining which colors were used) with the story-telling, such as: "I also remembered the small church. It was on the hill...I'll mix a little brown, a little yellow, and a little green."
Additionally, the story is told in both English and Albanian, so children are exposed to a different language.
It was a very short, delightful read that I think young children will thoroughly enjoy.
