The book is broken down into different sections, i.e. animals, space, money, with a brief introduction to each followed by a ton of numbered facts.
It isn't that the facts can't be interesting, but in this format--fact after fact after fact--it's extraordinarily unappealing. The images are all done in silhouette which works for some of them, but not all. At the very end is a quiz to see how many of the facts you memorized. Was that the purpose of this book, to memorize facts? Since there are over 500 of them, I'd be impressed with anyone who could memorize even 1/10 of them.
So, not a bad book, but listing a bunch of facts one after the other gets to be a tedious read real fast. Also, references on where these facts were taken from would have been appropriate.
