Hard To DecideI have read multiple books by Mary Higgins Clark and have enjoyed them but haven't ever read any books by Carol Higgins Clark and was curious to see how they would do writing together. Ummm...I'm kind of conflicted.
 ★★★ Wouldn't Go Out Of My WayRoped in to help with a bake sale for the school, several retired teachers end up in the vicinity of a murder. The main character, named Phyllis, can't help but ask questions and ends up butting into the investigation even though the police tell her not to.
There were quite a few creepy moments that could have been made creepier had they been given a little more time to develop; been a little less rushed. |
