Building a clock to teach a moral
Or as others might say, 'setting the scene.'
A Cute and Unbelievable Tale
First published in 1938, Mr. Popper's Penguins brings us an adorable story about a family that finds themselves taking care of a penguin, that soon becomes quite a few more, and what they had to do to take care of them.
The Original Classic
I received this book when I was a teen since I loved Winnie-the-Pooh and bears in general but didn’t appreciate the humor and the way the characters were written until I read it to my kids.
The author took the reader through the history of money on up to the current...fad?
...but a well-written compilation which covers old topics in an interesting manner.
One of the better books to read
I like it when an author cares enough to really do their best work: grammar, punctuation, character development/interaction, realistic dialogue.
I would have named this The Six Elemental Powers, but that's just me.
Clear and Succinct
I only wish I knew the author's credentials.
I just don't like fiction stories that are obvious in their agendas or preachiness.
I Really Enjoyed This Book
It started off strong and continued from there.
