I have five criteria that I use for reviewing a book and this one hit all the marks.
From the exceptional opening to the tense, exciting moments throughout. I really empathized with Reilly. It kind of had that 'Enough' (the movie) vibe.
The man who is too charming, too suave...too good to be true. But what he did to her made my blood boil. The mark of good writing.
Read this only if you can take it, because it's brutal.
