5-Star Rated Titles from this Past Year
Don't Be Afraid of Accounting by Brad Horton
Before Autumn Fades by Christian Andreo
Dreamer of Destiny by Barbara Woster
Hard To Decide
I have read multiple books by Mary Higgins Clark and have enjoyed them but haven't ever read any books by Carol Higgins Clark and was curious to see how they would do writing together. Ummm...I'm kind of conflicted.
Mechanically well done, dialogue exceptional, plot believable and tense (in just the right places)...but for me, it was the character development that really shot this one through the roof. When you love and hate (Ramirez) the characters, you know the author has done what it takes to make them feel real.
A Thrilling Sci-Fi
Quick note to author. Don't know if you're aware but there is no table of contents in the Kindle version (that showed up when I read the book), but there is a "Table of Contents" header.
Too Many Perfect Protagonists. No Antagonists.
First, that had to be the shortest prologue in history (that I've ever read) and seemed absolutely pointless.
Very Well Written
With a rather unusual title and a book cover that doesn’t really make me want to pick up the book to read it, I was rather surprised by what met me when I decided to wade through this story.
Very Well Done
Received an ARC in exchange for an honest opinion, and that opinion is that this is a great graphic novel.
Brilliantly Mind Blowing!
Captain Jerome Sideris is sent on a solo mission to another galaxy to explore and establish the viability of certain requirements, with a Level 3 AI and the ship's cargo. A more detailed synopsis of this book couldn't ever come close to touching how brilliantly written and well done this book was without giving too much away.
Not What I Expected
If you enjoy exploring questions with your child, this might make for a good conversation starter for a parent with young children.
Not A Bad Read With Potential
There were times when I was enjoying the book, and other times I would shake my head because it was either dragging, boring, or cliche.
