I just don't like fiction stories that are obvious in their agendas or preachiness.

I Really Enjoyed This Book
It started off strong and continued from there.
...and inventive, to be sure, but I had a difficult time with the level of violence and ignorance portrayed; especially as this is a middle-grade read.
A fictional guide...
...for young teens on how to start a business. In this instance, a waffle business.
For the father's in our lives, you are more unique and important than you realize. May your day be filled with the loved ones that blessed you with the title Father.

The story was told in a manner of a narrator, or as if I were sitting with you and relaying facts of an event.
If you enjoy stories about demons, then you'll enjoy this one a lot.
The author definitely has a flair for this type of genre, but just as I would get going, enjoying the story, I'd stumble over a sentence that didn't make sense.
Example: He wore a white-dusty surcoat open in two neared his black trousers and long boots."
