The reason that I'm not rating this any lower is because of two reasons only: mechanically, it's nearly flawless and the humor is extraordinary (I liked his five overrated things). Otherwise, it's not that great a book.
First, there appears to be no cohesion to the thought process. It's almost rambling. The author skips around so much, that I nearly threw up like his character did in the opening chapter. Speaking of chapters, his are so short that you have only enough time to begin enjoying what's going on and then it closes and you're left scratching your head. Then it's on to the next well-written, witty, very-short chapter.
Again, what salvages this is the humor, which I absolutely loved. The song titles inclusion was an interesting touch.
Overall, it needs a lot of work to make it a readable story, but if you like a good sense of humor and don't mind clipped nonsensical stories, you could do worse.
