Terms of Service

    Specifically for  Editorial Services: 

    ​Global Bookworms editorial criteria ensures that your book is provided that in-depth critique and assessment of the big picture, when you hire an editor. We provide:
    1. A detailed critique of your manuscript's final draft that will encompass ALL thoughts, questions, and comments (as applicable) regarding:
      * the reader's point of view; 
      * the emotional impact;  
      * character development and interaction;     
      *       plot development;     
      * dialogue believability; 
      * overall story. 
    2. A potential shout-out for your upcoming book for other readers to keep an eye out for.
    3. Lastly, all books reviewed by an editor will remain the intellectual property of the original author.

    Books we accept: Children's fiction, young adult and adult (i.e. mystery, sci-fi/fantasy, historical, romance, Christian, suspense/thriller, etc.) and some nonfiction books (i.e. Christian, true crime, self help, autobiographies (e.g. LGBTQ))

    Books we do not accept: Poetry, erotica, books with gender neutral characters, books that promote hatred, LGBTQ fiction and some nonfiction books (i.e. political)

    Our lists are not all encompassing, so if uncertain what we accept, email us prior to submitting your book.

    Turnaround time for hiring an editor can take up to 8 weeks, not including weekends or holidays, depending on length of the book and depth of notes required. Global Bookworms does not guarantee a good critique, but honest opinions of the book.

    If you have more than one book you wish our readers to read, you must submit each separately. You have 24 hours to request a refund, after that work will begin and no refunds will be provided.

    ​Once we've edited your book, you can resubmit your book for editing services again when ready, if it was needing work, at a significant discount.
